Firmly Embedded Implants
Because they are firmly embedded in the jawbone, dental implants provide a prosthetic-tooth solution that feels as natural as it looks. In fact, the titanium implant that the dentist inserts in the bone underlying the replaced tooth may actually be more solidly anchored than the tooth root it replaces. Once the implant is solidly screwed into the pilot hole in the bone, it undergoes a process known as "osseointegration," which means that the titanium metal fuses to the surrounding bone.
We provide a full range of dental treatments, including preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry.
Once this process is completed, and the implant site is fully healed, it is ready to receive the crown (visible portion of the tooth) restoration. The result is a freestanding replacement tooth that will not move or slip.
At the office of Richard Seidler, D.D.S. we work with our patients so they can achieve and maintain a beautiful smile and healthier gums and teeth.
